==History==
Saint Paul College began as a "Boy's Vocational School" in 1910 and served young men interested in working in the building trades. Later, "Girl's Vocational School" opened to train young women for health careers. Shortly after World War II, a veteran's program was developed for returning servicemen. Learning took place in area high schools and other St. Paul locations until 1966 when faculty and staff moved into its current facility—a complex located on a site. This site became Saint Paul Technical Vocational Institute, or Saint Paul TVI. In 2002 the college implemented a name change to Saint Paul College - A Community & Technical College. A new focus on liberal arts education was added to accompany the school's traditional vocational training.
